Mozilla, in partnership with the National Science Foundation and the “Gig City” of Chattanooga, Tennessee, would like to invite you to “Hackanooga: Ignite Chattanooga Hack Days” on Sept. 14-16.

At Hackanooga, we want to push the bounds of what is possible. Join us for a weekend of good food, good friends, and — most importantly — a unique opportunity to hack on a citywide, 1 gigabit per second network.

Over two and a half days, we’ll build prototype code — think minimum viable product — that takes advantage of ultra high speed and/or smart networks. We’re trying to bring together the right people with the right skills and the right ideas to create some awesome projects.

Teams are already forming and projects created here could evolve into submissions to the Mozilla Ignite Challenge with $500,000 of seed money, mentorship and other resources to help get off the ground.
